The MUCAR 632 Elite is a bidirectional scan tool that covers the four core control modules a transmission tech actually needs: engine, transmission, ABS, and SRS. It reads and clears fault codes on each, then graphs live data so you can watch what the module is seeing in real time. On the transmission side that means pulling shift-solenoid and pressure-switch codes and streaming live transmission fluid temperature, line pressure, and gear commands while the vehicle runs.
Because it is bidirectional, the 632 does more than read codes. It sends commands back to the vehicle to run active tests, cycling actuators like solenoids, wheel-speed sensors, oil pressure, and relays so you can confirm a part responds before you condemn it. That is the difference between guessing and knowing when you are chasing a no-shift or harsh-shift complaint.
It carries 15 reset and service functions, including gearbox/transmission adaptation learning, oil reset, EPB, steering angle (SAS), TPMS, injector coding, throttle adaptation, ABS bleeding, battery matching, and DPF regeneration. It supports FCA SGW with integrated AutoAuth for 2018-and-newer Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, plus CAN FD, and covers 1996-and-newer domestic, Asian, and European cars and light trucks.
Hardware is a 6.2-inch 1024x600 touchscreen running on a 1.8GHz chip with Android 8.1 and 32GB of storage (expandable via microSD to 128GB). Vehicle-coverage and feature updates are free for the life of the tool over WiFi, with no annual subscription.
