Reads and clears codes across the engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, BCM and TPMS, with seven reset services including throttle relearn and ABS bleed.
The MUCAR CS6 is a 5-inch handheld scan tool that reads and clears trouble codes on six control modules: engine, transmission, ABS, SRS airbag, body control (BCM) and TPMS. It pulls the code, the code definition, and the possible causes and reported fixes, so you are not guessing at a P0700 or a stored transmission code before you drop the pan.
For transmission work it reads and clears TCM codes and shows a four-PID live data stream at once, so you can watch engine speed, coolant temperature, fuel system status and PCM data while the symptom happens. That is how you separate a slipping clutch pack or a bad shift solenoid from a sensor or wiring fault before the trans comes out.
It runs the seven reset services a shop uses most: oil light reset, EPB electronic parking brake, steering angle (SAS) calibration, TPMS relearn, ABS bleeding, DPF regeneration and throttle body adaptation. Full OBDII coverage is included too: all ten modes, freeze frame, O2 and EVAP tests, on-board monitors, I/M readiness and DTC lookup, plus Auto VIN to pull the vehicle in without typing.
Hardware is a quad-core 1.3GHz processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage on Android 7.0, a 1280x720 screen, and a Type-C cable. Diagnostic reports record, print and share. Software updates are free for the life of the tool with no subscription. Includes the CS6 unit, Type-C cable and manual, backed by a one-year warranty.
