OTC 6792 Transmission Fluid Fill and Extract Kit 6L

A 6-liter sealed reservoir that runs off your shop air line and moves ATF both directions: pull fluid straight out of a bulk container or a drain pan, then push it back up through the fill port with the transmission on the lift. One control valve switches between extract and dispense, and a PSI relief valve keeps the tank from being over-pressurized.

This is the tool for the modern sealed-case units that have no dipstick tube - GM 6L80/6L90, 8L45/8L90, 10L80, Ford 6R80 and 10R80, ZF8HP, Aisin and the VW/Audi boxes that all have to be filled from underneath at a set fluid temperature. The kit ships with a general universal adapter plus 14 OE-style adapters in a storage case, each stamped with its application, so you are not hunting for a fitting while fluid drips on the floor.

All connections are press-on quick connects, so you can set it up and run it one-handed while the other hand holds the fill plug or the temperature scanner. Operating and safety instructions are printed on decals right on the reservoir. The bottle is permanently sealed for safety, which means you fill it by drawing fluid in through the hose rather than pouring it in through a cap.

Bench note: fill level on these transmissions is set by fluid temperature, not by volume. Get the unit running, watch the temp on a scan tool, and add until it starts to weep at the check plug in the spec window. This kit lets you add while the engine is running without pulling the vehicle down.
