Rebuilds the Honda RE4 five-speed automatic in 2007-2010 CR-V 2.4L with frictions, steels, gaskets, seals and O-rings for the MZHA, MZJA and BZHA units.
This is a master overhaul kit for the Honda five-speed automatic used behind the 2.4L K24 engine in the 2007-2010 CR-V, carried under the transmission assembly codes MZHA, MZJA and BZHA. It covers a full teardown rebuild: the friction clutch plates, the steel plates that pair with them, and the complete gasket, seal and O-ring set needed to close the case back up.
On these units the trouble a shop sees most is slipping or flaring on the upshifts as the clutch frictions wear, plus fluid leaks past hardened case and axle seals after high mileage. A master kit replaces those wear items in one pass instead of chasing one leak or one slipping pack at a time. The frictions and steels are cut to the factory clutch-pack stack dimensions so clearances come back within spec on reassembly.
Use it on the bench during a full rebuild: soak the new frictions in ATF before assembly, set each clutch pack clearance as you stack it, and replace every seal and O-ring in the kit rather than reusing the old ones. This is the friction, steel and seal package only - it does not include the torque converter, bushings or hard parts, so inspect and replace those separately if they are worn.
