RE7R01A JR710E Transmission Filter & Oil Pan Gasket Kit

Service kit for the Nissan and Infiniti RE7R01A rear-wheel-drive 7-speed automatic, also carried under the JATCO codes JR710E and JR711E. It contains the internal transmission filter and the oil pan gasket you replace during a fluid and filter service, matching OEM part number 31705-X185D.

Fitment covers a wide slice of the RWD Infiniti and Nissan line: Infiniti Q50 and Q60 2014-2021, Q70 2014-2019, Q70L 2015-2019, QX50 and QX70 2014-2017, Q40 2015, G37 and FX37 2013, M37 and M56 2011-2013, EX35 2011-2012, FX35 2009-2012, M35 2009-2010, and the Nissan 370Z 2015-2020. These transmissions have no dipstick and no external spin-on filter, so the pan has to come down to change the filter.

On a lift or the bench: drop the pan, pull the old filter off the valve body, seat the new filter, clean the pan and magnet, lay the new gasket dry (this pan does not need RTV), and torque the pan bolts evenly in a cross pattern. Refill through the fill plug with the correct Nissan Matic S ATF and set the level at the specified fluid temperature. Changing the filter on the same interval as the fluid keeps line pressure clean and the 7-speed shifting crisp.
