THINKCAR 641 Wireless OBD2 Scanner for Transmission Codes

The THINKCAR 641 is a wireless OBD2 scanner that reads and clears codes from four systems: engine, transmission, ABS and SRS airbags. For transmission work that is the part that matters. A stored P0700 only tells you the TCM set a code; you still need to pull the transmission module itself to see what is behind it, and a generic code reader that only talks to the engine module will not do that.

The VCI plugs into the OBD2 port under the dash and pairs to your phone over Bluetooth 5.0, so you can sit in the driver seat and watch data while someone else drives, or stand at the bench with the vehicle running. It shows live data as four graphs at once plus freeze frame, and streams OEM level parameters including RPM, coolant temperature, oxygen sensor and fuel trim data. Watching a live stream while the unit shifts is how you tell a real hydraulic fault from a wiring or sensor problem before you pull the pan.

It also carries ten service reset functions, so after a repair you can clear the light and reset the related service item rather than leaving the customer with a dash full of warnings. The seller lists CAN FD and FCA gateway support, which matters on newer GM and Chrysler products that older readers cannot talk to at all, and lifetime software updates.

This is a diagnostic tool, not a programmer. Use it to read and clear codes, check live data and run the listed resets. It will not do module programming or solenoid strategy relearns that require factory software.
