Four-system scan tool that reads and clears engine, transmission, ABS, and SRS codes with live data, plus oil, EPB, SAS, TPMS, BMS, and throttle resets.
The TOPDON AD500 (also sold as the ArtiDiag500) is a handheld scan tool that goes past a basic code reader. It runs full OBD2 generic functions plus four-system diagnostics on the engine, transmission, ABS, and SRS modules, reading and clearing fault codes and pulling live data streams. On a transmission job that means you can watch trans fault codes, verify a solenoid or speed-sensor DTC, and clear the code after the repair without a trip to the shop.
Live data shows up to four PIDs at once and can be graphed, stored, and played back, so you can chase an intermittent code while the vehicle is running. AutoVIN reads the VIN and pulls the correct vehicle so you are not guessing at the make, model, and year, and a built-in battery voltage readout flags a weak battery that throws false codes.
Along with diagnostics it handles six service resets: Oil light, Steering Angle Sensor (SAS), TPMS, Battery Management System (BMS), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), and throttle body adaptation. That covers most of the relearns you run into after a fluid service, battery swap, or brake job.
