U340E Transmission Master Rebuild Kit with Piston Kit

This is a full overhaul kit for the Toyota U340E and U341E 4-speed front-wheel-drive automatic. It includes the clutch frictions, steel plates, seals and gaskets for a complete teardown, plus a piston kit so you are not reusing hardened bonded pistons from a high-mileage unit. OE transmission reference 35330-0W020.

Listed fitment: 2000-2005 Toyota Echo 1.5L, 2006-2011 Toyota Yaris 1.5L and 2009 Toyota Corolla 1.8L, along with the 2000-2011 JDM 1.5L Toyota platforms (Vitz, Probox, Platz, Allion, Premio, Belta, Vios). Check the tag on your case against U340E or U341E before you order.

These units come in for slipping into 3rd or 4th, flare on the 2-3 shift and harsh engagements once the frictions glaze and the piston seals go hard. On the bench, soak the new frictions in the specified ATF before assembly, set clutch pack clearances as you stack each drum, and air check every circuit before the valve body goes back on. Replace the filter and flush the cooler lines so debris from the old clutches does not go straight back into the new ones.
