XTOOL A30D Bidirectional Scan Tool with Transmission Match

The XTOOL A30D is a wireless OBDII dongle that pairs to an iPhone or Android phone over Bluetooth and turns it into an all-system scan tool. It reads and clears codes on the engine, transmission, ABS, SRS airbag and A/C modules on most 1996-and-newer vehicles, and it supports CAN-FD and FCA AutoAuth (the AutoAuth subscription is separate and not included) so it still talks to late-model Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Fiat gateways and 2020-up GM and Ford CAN-FD buses.

Live data streams up to 8 PIDs at once with graphs and meters, and it logs and plays back, so you can drive the vehicle and then sit down and line up line pressure, TFT, turbine speed and TCC slip against the moment the shift went wrong. Bluetooth range is about 33 feet, which is enough to leave the phone on the bench while the car is on the lift.
