XTOOL A30M V2.0 Bidirectional OBD2 Scanner, All System

The XTOOL A30M V2.0 is a wireless, bring-your-own-device bidirectional scan tool. You supply an Android or iOS phone or tablet, install the free Anyscan app, and the A30M dongle links over Bluetooth 4.0 at up to 33 feet, so you can stand at the wheel or under the car and still command modules. It reads OBD2-equipped cars and 12V light trucks from 1996 up across 85-plus brands, supports CAN FD for GM 2020-and-newer and FCA AutoAuth for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Fiat 2018-plus, and gets lifetime free software updates over WiFi with no subscription.

On the transmission side it does the work a plug-in code reader cannot. It reads and clears TCM trouble codes on the actual transmission controller, not just the generic powertrain module, streams live gearbox data including transmission fluid temperature and shaft speeds, and runs Gearbox Matching (transmission adaptation relearn) so the TCM re-learns shift and clutch fill values after a solenoid swap, valve body change, or a fluid and filter service. Clearing the codes that drop a unit into limp mode is a routine use here, letting you confirm whether a fault is active or historical before you pull the pan.

Beyond the transmission the A30M carries 26 service functions covering the whole vehicle: Oil Reset, EPB (electronic parking brake) reset, SAS steering angle calibration, ABS brake bleeding, throttle body relearn, injector coding, crank sensor relearn, BMS battery registration, TPMS reset, DPF regeneration and more. Full-system AutoScan reaches Engine, Transmission, ABS, SRS, BCM and HVAC, and you can graph up to 8 live data streams at once to watch trends and catch intermittent faults.

Note that service coverage varies by year, make and model, the FCA AutoAuth account is billed separately by the manufacturer, and the tool has no screen of its own by design; it runs on the phone or tablet you already own.
