Yukon YK C7.25 is the complete master overhaul kit for the Chrysler 7.25 in rear differential. It has everything to take the axle down to the housing and put it back together with new bearings instead of reusing the old ones.
Included: Timken carrier bearings and races, inner and outer pinion bearings and races, pinion seal, complete shim kit, ring gear bolts, pinion nut, crush sleeve, oil baffles and slingers, thread locking compound, gear marking compound with brush, and a cover gasket.
Use it whenever you are installing a new ring and pinion, or when the old gears are fine but the bearings are howling or the pinion seal is leaking. Set pinion depth with the shims, bring pinion preload up slowly on the new crush sleeve, then set carrier preload and backlash and read the pattern with the marking compound. Put thread locker on the ring gear bolts and torque to spec. Run a gentle break-in and change the gear oil after the first few hundred miles.
