09G TF-60SN Transmission Valve Body with Solenoids

Remanufactured valve body and solenoid assembly for the 09G six-speed automatic (Aisin TF-60SN) used behind the 1.6L and 1.8L engines in VW and Audi front-drive cars. Replaces OE part numbers 09G325039A and 09G325039AX. The unit ships complete with the shift solenoids and pressure control solenoids already installed on the casting, so it goes in as one piece rather than as a bare body you have to populate.

Common fitment covers Audi TT 2003-2008, VW Beetle, Golf, Jetta and Jetta Wagon 2007-up, Passat and Touran with the 09G transmission. Verify the transmission code stamped on the case and the engine displacement before ordering - the 09G was built in more than one calibration, and this one is the 1.6L/1.8L unit, not the 2.0L variant.

This is the part that fixes the classic 09G complaints: harsh or delayed 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, flare between gears, a slipping torque converter clutch, limp mode with solenoid performance codes (P0776, P0796, P0731-P0736), and no-move conditions caused by a stuck pressure regulator or a scored bore in the original casting. Bore wear inside the aluminum body is the usual root cause and it is not something a fluid service or a solenoid swap will correct.

Each unit is disassembled, cleaned, inspected, calibrated and bench tested before it ships. Light cosmetic wear and oil staining on the casting is normal for a remanufactured body. Drop the pan, pull the filter, unbolt the old body, transfer the manual valve linkage, torque the bolts in sequence, then refill with the correct G 055 025 spec fluid and set the level at operating temperature. Relearn the adaptives after the fill.
