Filter and pan gasket to do a proper fluid-and-filter service on the Aisin 09G/TF-60SN six-speed automatic in VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda. Replaces 09G325429B.
The 09G is VW's name for the Aisin TF-60SN, the transverse six-speed automatic that went into a huge amount of the 2003-2013 VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda lineup. It is a sealed transmission from the factory, so a lot of owners never touch the fluid until it starts flaring or banging on the 2-3 shift. By then the filter is usually loaded with clutch material and the fluid is burnt. This kit gives you the internal filter and the matching pan gasket so you can drop the pan, drain it, and put a clean filter back in the right way instead of reusing a plugged one.
The filter is OE number 09G325429B (industrial 119738B) and the gasket is 09G321370 (industrial 119538-K), so it seals to the pan like the factory piece. Fitment covers VW Beetle 2002-2010, Golf and Golf Plus 2003-2013, Jetta 2005-2013, Passat 2005-2013, Polo and Touran; Audi A3 and TT 2003-2008; Seat Altea, Leon and Toledo; and Skoda Fabia, Octavia and Roomster. It fits the standard 09G/09M service, not the DSG dual-clutch box, so confirm you have the torque-converter automatic before ordering.
On the bench the job is straightforward: get the fluid up to temperature, pull the pan, swap the filter, clean the pan and magnet, set the new gasket dry, and refill through the fill plug with a proper Aisin-spec ATF until it runs out the level tube at temperature. A fresh filter and a clean gasket every 40,000 to 60,000 miles is cheap insurance on a transmission that is expensive to replace.
