Pushes ATF up through the side fill plug on sealed transmissions like the 6L80, 6R80 and ZF 8HP so you can refill on the lift without a dipstick.
A sealed transmission has no dipstick and no fill tube on top. The fluid goes in from the side, through a fill or check plug that sits below the fluid level, which means gravity will not do the job for you. This is the pump that does. You fill the 3 liter reservoir with your ATF, thread the right adapter into the case, and work the hand lever to push fluid uphill into the transmission until it runs back out the check plug at the correct level.
It covers the transmissions that gave shops this problem in the first place: GM 6L80 and 6L90, Ford 6R80 and 10R80, ZF 6HP and 8HP in BMW, Chrysler and Ram, VW/Audi 09G and DSG units, and most late-model Toyota and Honda boxes with a side fill plug. The kit ships with an assortment of threaded adapters for domestic and import cases plus a belt to keep them together, so you are not hunting for the one fitting that matches the pan you just dropped.
The dispensing hose uses a swivel connector with a shut-off valve at the end. That matters more than it sounds: when the transmission is full and fluid starts weeping back past the adapter, you close the valve at the case instead of pulling a live hose out over the exhaust and the crossmember. Rated from -40 C to 100 C, so cold ATF in an unheated bay pumps the same as warm fluid off a hot lift.
This is the manual version, part number OEMTOOLS 24441. No shop air required, which makes it usable on a mobile call or in a home garage that only has a compressor for impact work. It also pulls double duty on differentials, transfer cases and manual gearboxes with side fill plugs.
