0B5 DL501 Transmission Oil Pan, Filter and Gasket Kit

Full sump service kit for the Audi 0B5 DL501 seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission. You get the transmission oil pan, the pan gasket and the internal filter screen in one box, which matters on the DL501 because the filter is not sold as a standalone serviceable element on every version of this unit and the pan is a common casualty of a stripped drain plug or a scraped underside.

Fitment runs across the longitudinal 0B5 cars: Audi A4 2.0L sedan 2016, A5 2.0L Quattro coupe 2010-2015, A5 2.0L Quattro cabriolet 2010-2014, A5 2.0L Quattro Premium coupe and convertible 2015-2016, A5 2.0L FLEX Quattro Premium and Prestige 2015-2016, and A5 2.0L FLEX Quattro Sport convertible 2017. Related S4, S5, S6, S7, RS5 and RS7 models run the same 0B5 case, but the DL501 shipped with more than one filter neck over its production life, so match your old filter and the OE code above before you order.

On the bench or on a lift: drain the mechatronic and gear oil circuits, drop the pan bolts in a cross pattern and let the pan come down flat so you do not dump debris back into the valve body, pull the old filter screen straight off the pickup, seat the new screen fully so its neck seal is home, lay the new gasket on a clean, dry pan rail and torque the bolts in stages working from the middle out. Refill and level the DL501 at temperature through the fill plug, not by volume alone.

A restricted filter on a DL501 shows up as harsh or delayed engagement pulling away from a stop, clutch judder that gets worse as the fluid heats, and eventually a mechatronic fault code for low clutch pressure. Fresh screen and a properly sealed pan restore full feed to the pump and stop the seep at the pan rail these cars are known for once the original gasket takes a set.
