A 1200W handheld induction heater that puts heat exactly where you need it and nowhere else. Slip a coil over a rusted bolt head, hold the trigger, and the electromagnetic field heats the fastener itself in roughly 15 seconds. The rust bond between the threads breaks, the bolt backs out, and you keep the head instead of drilling it out and chasing threads.
On transmission work this earns its keep on the jobs where a torch is a bad idea. Crossmember bolts, bellhousing bolts, and cooler line fittings that have sat under a truck for ten winters come loose without an open flame anywhere near ATF, fuel lines, wiring looms, or rubber bushings. It is also the clean way to expand a bearing race or a bushing before you press it on, and to heat-shrink small gears and pulleys on the bench.
Eight coils ship in the case: six fixed-size coils for common bolt and nut diameters, plus two lengths of bare coil wire you bend yourself to wrap odd-shaped iron parts, brackets, and fittings that no pre-formed coil fits around. Runs on standard 110V shop power, so it plugs into any wall outlet or extension cord without a welder circuit.
The unit is Solary's H7, 6.23 lb with a non-slip grip so it stays manageable overhead under a lift. Everything stores in the included blow-molded case.
