1500W Magnetic Induction Heater Kit, 10 Coils and Case

A 1500W handheld magnetic induction heater that heats a seized bolt, nut, or bearing race from the inside out with no open flame. You slip the coil over the fastener, hold the trigger, and the fastener goes cherry red in roughly 25 seconds. The heat expands the fastener and breaks the rust bond in the threads, so it backs out instead of snapping off.

This is the tool you reach for on transmission crossmember bolts, bellhousing bolts, pan bolts, cooler line fittings, and exhaust hardware on any vehicle that has seen road salt. Because there is no torch, you are not putting flame near ATF, fuel lines, brake lines, wiring looms, or undercoating - a real advantage when you are working under a car with the pan still full. It also works for shrinking on bearing races and pulling seized gears and pulleys.

The kit ships with ten coils: eight pre-formed coils in different diameters for common bolt and nut sizes, plus two flexible coils you can wrap around odd shapes and reach fasteners buried in tight spots. A built-in cooling fan runs during operation and the unit has overheat protection, so you can work through a string of fasteners without waiting on it to cool down between pulls. The handle is threaded with a non-slip grip.

Runs on standard 110V shop power. Everything stores in the included blow-molded case: heater, ten coils, and manual. Shipped case weight is about 6.3 lb.
