Two-ton foldable shop crane that pulls engines and transmissions on a hydraulic ram, 4400 lb capacity with a telescoping boom and six-wheel base.
A two-ton hydraulic engine hoist is the tool you reach for when a gearbox or engine has to come out the top. The hydraulic ram lifts the load one-handed off the pump handle, and the telescoping boom pins at four positions rated 2 ton, 1.5 ton, 1 ton, and 1/2 ton so you can trade reach for capacity as the load swings out over the fenders. Full boom extension drops you to the 1100 lb rating, so keep heavy long-blocks pinned in close.
The boom, mast, and legs are 4 mm steel, and the whole thing folds down to roughly a third of its footprint in about ten seconds with no tools once the load is off, so it stores flat against a wall or in a trunk between jobs. Six casters (dual swivel up front) roll and steer it loaded across a concrete floor instead of the four-wheel cranes that walk sideways under weight.
Shop uses go well past engines: pulling automatic transmissions and transfer cases straight up out of a truck, setting boat motors, lifting differentials and axle assemblies, and moving heavy machinery around the bay. Bolt a load leveler to the hook to tilt a long-block for bellhousing clearance. Ships from the USA, freight to your door.
