Aluminum replacement pan for Ford 4R70W, 4R75W and AOD-E with gasket, filter and magnetic drain plug, so the next fluid service is a plug pull.
This is an aluminum replacement oil pan for the Ford 4R70W, 4R75W, 4R75E and AOD-E automatics. It crosses to 265-813 and Ford 6L3Z-7A194-A, F3AZ-7A194-A and F6AZ-7A194-A, and fits the trucks and cars those units went into: F-150, Expedition, E-Series vans, Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, Marauder, Mustang, Thunderbird, Cougar, Town Car and Mark VIII/Mark LT.
The stock stamped pan has no drain plug, so every service means dropping a full pan of hot fluid on the floor, and a pan that has been bent on a jack or rusted along the rail will weep no matter how many gaskets you put on it. This pan has a magnetic drain plug that catches clutch and steel wear before it circulates, and it comes with a gasket, filter and pan bolts.
On the bench: drain and drop the old pan, pull the old filter and make sure its seal did not stay behind in the pump bore, then look at what is in the bottom of the pan before you throw it out. Heavy friction material or brass means the unit has bigger problems than a leak. Scrape the case rail clean, install the new filter and gasket, snug the pan bolts in a cross pattern without crushing the gasket, and refill and check level hot in park with the engine running. After that, a drain-and-refill is a plug pull and a magnet check.
