Complete overhaul set of frictions, steels, gaskets and seals for rebuilding the A4CF0 four-speed automatic in Hyundai i10 and Kia Picanto.
This is the full master rebuild set for the Hyundai/Kia A4CF0, the four-speed transverse automatic used behind the small 1.1L and 1.2L engines. It covers OE kit number T25900A, which is the combination of the overhaul kit T25902A, the friction plate kit T259080A and the steel plate kit T259081A. Buying the three as one set is how you avoid getting a transmission apart and discovering the frictions came in a separate box you never ordered.
Fitment is the A4CF0 in the Hyundai i10 1.1L and 1.2L and the Kia Morning / Picanto from 2007 up. The A4CF0 is the smaller sibling of the A4CF1 that sits behind the 1.4L and 1.6L engines - the two units share a family resemblance but the clutch packs and plate counts are not interchangeable, so check the OE number stamped on your case and match it against the part numbers above before you order.
On the bench this is a standard teardown-and-measure job. Pull the valve body and pump, strip the drums, and replace every bonded seal and lip seal in the overhaul kit as you go back together - the hardened original seals are what cause the delayed engagement and the soft 1-2 shift these units get known for as they age. Soak the new frictions in clean ATF before they go in, stack them with the new steels, and check pack clearance with a feeler gauge against your service spec rather than assuming the kit lands you in range. Set the gaskets dry unless the service manual calls for sealant.
Typical reasons a shop reaches for this kit: slipping or flare between shifts, burnt fluid and clutch material in the pan, or a unit that engages late when cold. The kit is 6.61 lb shipped and comes in one box.
