Two calibrated digital torque wrenches in one kit: a 3/8-inch 3.7 to 37 ft-lb and a 1/2-inch 14.8 to 147.5 ft-lb, both with a beep and LED at target torque.
This combo covers the two torque ranges you reach for most on a transmission bench and under the truck. You get the ARM601-3 in 3/8-inch drive, reading 3.7 to 37 ft-lbs, for valve body bolts, pan bolts, pump bolts and small case fasteners where a big 1/2-inch wrench is clumsy and easy to over-torque. Alongside it is the ARM601-4 in 1/2-inch drive, reading 14.8 to 147.5 ft-lbs, for bellhousing bolts, converter-to-flexplate bolts, crossmember and mount hardware, and driveline flange bolts.
Both are electronic, not click-type, so you dial the target value on the LCD and the wrench buzzes and flashes an LED the instant you hit it. Readouts switch between ft-lbs and Nm. Because it reads live torque, you can also use it to check a fastener that is already tightened without loosening it first, which is how you verify a suspect converter or pan bolt without guessing.
Each wrench ships in its own hard-shell case with a certificate of calibration to ISO 6789. Both run on 4 AAA batteries (not included). Keep them stored in the cases and re-check calibration periodically; a torque wrench that lives loose in a drawer drifts.
