A dedicated stand that cradles a Bert, Brinn, or GM 3- and 4-speed manual transmission upright on the bench. Instead of laying the case on its side or wedging it against the vise, you set the tailshaft down into the stand and the unit sits level and stable while you work the top of the case. It keeps the input shaft clear and the transmission from rolling when you break bolts loose.

Made of steel with a black powder-coat finish, it measures roughly 18 by 12.5 by 8.75 inches and weighs about 5 pounds, so it stays put on the bench but is light enough to move between the trailer and the shop. It fits the common circle-track and street 3- and 4-speed cases from Bert, Brinn, and GM that share that mounting pattern.
