ATP Y-228 TV Detent Cable, GM 700R4 & 200-4R (2004R)

On a GM 700R4 (4L60) or 200-4R (TH2004R) the TV cable is not a kickdown afterthought like the old TH350 detent cable, it directly controls hydraulic line pressure. Throttle position pulls this cable, the cable moves the TV plunger in the valve body, and that pressure holds the clutches. If the cable binds, stretches, breaks, or is adjusted too loose, line pressure drops, the clutches slip under load, and the transmission cooks itself, often within a few hundred miles.
