Pulls and reseats the clutch actuators on Hyundai and Kia D7UF1 and D7GF1 7-speed dry dual-clutch boxes without cracking the actuator housing.
Hyundai and Kia's 7-speed dry dual-clutch units - the D7UF1 and D7GF1 - do not use a hydraulic release system. Two electric clutch actuators bolt to the outside of the case and push the release forks directly. When a clutch pack is replaced, or when an actuator itself fails and throws position or adaptation codes, those actuators have to come off and go back on square. They sit under spring load against the fork, and prying at them is how techs crack the actuator housing or bend the fork lever.
This set is the puller and installer for that job, built to Hyundai/Kia special tool 09430-A5100. It captures the actuator body and draws it straight off the case against the fork spring, then holds and compresses on reassembly so the actuator seats flat and the fork stays in its pocket. Fitment covers the D7UF1 and D7GF1 7-speed DCT behind the Gamma 1.6 T-GDI and Gamma 1.6 GDI gas engines and the U2 1.6 and 1.7 diesel - Sonata, Elantra, Veloster, Tucson, Kona and the Kia equivalents that share the box.
The pieces are steel with a heat-treated surface, so the threads and pressure pads hold up to repeat use instead of galling on the second transmission. Printed instructions are packed with the set. Plan on doing the clutch actuator adaptation/relearn with a scan tool once the actuators are back on - the TCM has to relearn touch point before the car will drive right.
