No gaps in the run, which matters on import and late-model domestic transmissions where the cooler and case fittings are metric and rarely the size you guessed. The head folds through 200 degrees, so each piece works as a straight flare nut socket or as a crowfoot depending on the clearance.

Metric flare fittings show up on Toyota, Honda and Nissan cooler lines, on most European hydraulic and brake work, and on the newer GM and Ford units that went metric. The slotted six-point head slides over the line and grips the flats rather than the corners, which is the only way a ten-year-old line nut comes off in one piece.

Drive it with a 3/8 in. ratchet in tight quarters or a torque wrench where there is a spec - if you run the crowfoot at 90 degrees to the wrench handle, account for the added length when you set the value. Alloy steel, chrome finish for corrosion resistance.
