Drives bearings, bushings, and oil seals in or out on a 12-20 ton shop press using 27 forged sleeves and a centering adapter, without gouging the housing.
This is the adapter set you clamp under a 12 to 20 ton hydraulic shop press to push bearings, bushings, and oil seals in and out squarely. Instead of beating on a bushing with a socket and a drift, you center the part with a matched sleeve and let the ram do the work, so nothing goes in cocked and the bore does not get gouged.
The kit (model KT6082) includes 27 forged steel sleeves, a threaded adapter, six centering pins, gloves, and a blow-molded case. Sleeve outside diameters run from about 39.5mm up to 92mm with 26mm to 33mm bores, covering the ranges you hit on suspension bushings, wheel bearings, pinion and extension-housing bushings, and axle seals on cars and light trucks.
Pick the sleeve that just clears the part, back it with a driver that matches the bore, drop in a centering pin to keep everything on axis, and press. The forged sleeves take the full ram load without mushrooming. At 28 pounds it is a shop-grade set, not a throwaway.
