This is the dealer-pattern seal service set for Land Rover and Jaguar automatic transmissions. It replaces JLR special tools 307-520, 205-873, 205-873-01, 303-538, 307-594, 307-595, 307-685 and 307-687. If you have ever tried to drive an output shaft seal home with a socket and a hammer and ended up with it cocked in the bore and leaking again a week later, this is the set that stops that.
What is in the case: the main transmission oil seal installer, an intermediate shaft oil seal installer, an output shaft oil seal installer, an oil pump seal installer, a crankshaft rear main seal removal tool, and a quill shaft seal tool. Each installer indexes off the bore face so the seal goes in flat and to the correct depth instead of being tapped in by feel.
Fitment covers Discovery 2007-2016, Discovery Sport 2015-2016, Range Rover 2007-2016, Range Rover Evoque 2014-2016, Range Rover Sport 2007-2016 and Freelander 2007-2015, and on the Jaguar side F-TYPE 2014-2016, XF 2012-2016, XJ 2013-2016 and XE 2016. Typical jobs are a leaking transfer case output seal, a weeping transmission pump seal after a converter swap, or a rear main reseal done with the box out.
