The body is one piece of blow-molded high density polyethylene with the top and bottom bonded together into internal ribs, which is what keeps a plastic creeper from flexing under you the way a cheap stamped one does. It is 38 inches long, 17.5 inches wide, 4 inches tall, rated at 300 lb, and weighs 11.5 lb, with handles on three sides so you can hang it on the wall between jobs.

The reason to buy this one over a padded steel-frame creeper is the 7/8 inch floor clearance. Six 2 inch urethane ball bearing swivel casters sit in metal bushings molded into the body, so the deck rides low and still rolls over an air hose, an extension cord, or a weld seam in the floor instead of stopping dead on it. That matters when you are dropping a pan or pulling a crossmember on a car that is only up on jack stands and there is no room to sit up.

The shell is resistant to solvents, gear oil, ATF and fuel, so you wipe it down instead of soaking it into a fabric pad. The body-fitting shape includes a molded lumbar support, and the padded headrest is replaceable when it finally tears.
