Seals a funnel to a Lokar flexible dipstick filler tube so ATF pours straight down the dipstick into the transmission instead of down the case.
The Lokar S3026 is the fill adapter that lets you add transmission fluid through a Lokar flexible dipstick and filler tube. Those braided filler tubes have a narrow opening and no funnel of their own, so without an adapter there is no clean way to get ATF down the tube. The S3026 seats into the top of the filler tube and gives a funnel a sealed place to pour into.
In use you push the adapter's nose down into the dipstick filler tube until it seats, drop a funnel into the top, and pour. The fluid runs straight down the tube and into the transmission instead of running down the outside of the case or over the exhaust. Because you can watch it go in, it is easy to add a quart at a time and recheck level on the stick without overfilling.
It is built for the Lokar flexible filler and dipstick tubes used behind common automatics in street rods and engine swaps. Owners also report it fitting standard factory dipstick tubes on some vehicles where the tube opening matches. The throat is on the small side, so on a very narrow dipstick tube the adapter may sit high rather than seat all the way; check that your tube opening is close to the adapter nose before you count on it for a full fill.
The body is aluminum with a plastic seat and is made in the USA. Keep it in the toolbox alongside your Lokar dipstick so a fluid service never turns into a spill down the bellhousing. Ships from the USA.
