Universal 2-row aluminum transmission cooler with an 8-inch electric fan (up to 1,100 CFM) that pulls trans temps down 20-30F when towing or off-road.
A forced-air transmission cooler for the jobs a stock cooler can't keep up with: towing, supercharged or turbo builds, rock crawling, and long stop-and-go heat soak. The core is a 2-row aluminum tube-and-fin design with TIG-welded end tanks, and it ships with an 8-inch slim electric fan rated up to 1,100 CFM plus the mounting hardware to fit almost any vehicle.
Because it is a universal unit, you mount it wherever you have airflow and room - in front of the radiator, on the frame rail, or behind a grille - and plumb it inline on the transmission cooler return line with 3/8-inch cooler hose (not included). The fan lets it move heat even when the vehicle is stopped or crawling slowly, which is exactly when a plain tube-and-fin cooler stops working. Owners routinely report trans temps dropping 20-30 degrees F after adding it.
Wire the fan to a temperature switch or tie it to the radiator fan so it runs when things get hot. One install note worth knowing up front: Mishimoto confirms the fan can be wired to push or pull air depending on which lead you run to positive, so set the airflow direction toward the core for the mounting spot you choose. The fan moves serious air and is on the loud side under load - that is the tradeoff for the extra cooling.
