Universal aluminum transmission cooler with an 8-inch 1,100 CFM electric fan for heavy-duty towing, supercharged and turbo builds that run the trans hot.
A forced-air transmission cooler for the trucks and builds that overrun a stock cooler: heavy towing, supercharged or turbo setups, off-road crawling, and stop-and-go traffic where there is no ram air to pull heat out. The 8-inch slim electric fan moves up to 1,100 CFM straight through the core, so it keeps working when the vehicle is sitting still or grinding up a grade at low speed.
The core is a 2-row tube-and-fin design built from 100 percent aluminum with TIG-welded end tanks, so it handles line pressure and vibration without weeping at the joints. It is a universal cooler, not a vehicle-specific bolt-in: it ships with mounting hardware to fasten it to a core support, cross brace, or frame rail, and you plumb it into the return line with your own 3/8-inch cooler hose and clamps. Owners running Jeeps, F-150 EcoBoost tow rigs, Hummer H2s, Tacomas and 4Runners report trans temps dropping 10 to 30 degrees after fitting it.
Mount it inline (not parallel) after the factory cooler for the biggest temperature drop, and wire the fan so it pulls air through the core toward the engine bay. The fan can be tied into a temperature switch or the radiator fan circuit so it only runs when needed. Expect the high-output fan to be audible when it kicks on. Cooler hose, fittings, and a thermostatic switch are not included, so pick those up to match your line size.
