About this product

A 13-piece rear axle service set that covers the two jobs a solid-axle rebuild always comes down to: yanking the old semi-float axle bearing off (or out of) the housing and seating a fresh race and seal square. Three pullers with adjustable heads handle inner diameters from 1-1/4 to 2-7/8 in., so one kit spans small-car axles up to full-size truck rears.

The nine dual-head driver discs cover 1.6 to 3.2 in. and run off a knurled T-handle, so you can install bearing races and axle seals to the correct depth without cocking them or chewing up the bore. The pullers reach into tight housing ends where a bench press won't, which is what makes this a job-site kit rather than a shop-only setup.

Tools are forged from AISI 1045 steel or heavy-duty aluminum alloy with a chrome-plated finish to shrug off the corrosion that eats cheap pullers, and everything drops back into a molded case so the driver discs stay sorted between jobs. Works on common GM 10-bolt and 14-bolt, Ford 8.8 and 9-inch, and Dodge rear axles that use pressed-on bearings and lip seals.
