



A 1:64 gear-reduction torque multiplier that breaks loose seized 1-inch drive lug nuts and axle hardware on trucks, buses and RVs by hand.
This is a 1:64 planetary gear-reduction torque multiplier with a 1-inch square output drive. You put roughly 106 Nm in at the handle and it puts up to 6800 Nm (about 5015 ft-lb) out at the socket. That is the difference between spinning a rusted hub nut off in your own driveway and hauling the truck to a shop with a 1-inch impact.
Where it earns its keep: wheel lug nuts on semis, buses, RVs and heavy trailers; axle nuts and hub nuts that have been torqued and corroded for years; suspension and driveline hardware that a 1/2-inch breaker bar just twists on. The reaction arm braces against the adjacent lug or the wheel face so the tool takes the counter-torque instead of your wrists. Because it is a hand tool, you get controlled, steady force with no hammering, which matters on studs you intend to reuse.
The kit is 11 pieces: the multiplier body, a 10.4 in extension bar, a rocking handle bar with a textured rubberized grip, and seven 1-inch drive sockets. Six are 6-point in 15/16 in (24 mm), 1-1/16 in (27 mm), 1-3/16 in (30 mm), 1-1/4 in (32 mm), 1-5/16 in (33 mm) and 1-1/2 in (38 mm), plus one 4-point socket in 13/16 in (21 mm) for square-drive style nuts. Sizes are laser etched, so you are not squinting at a worn stamp on the floor.
The body is 40Cr steel with a powder coat; the sockets are phosphatized chrome vanadium, which holds up better than plain plating when the tool lives in a wet truck box. Everything stores in the included blow-molded case. Note this is a torque multiplier, not a calibrated torque wrench - use it for removal and for run-down, then set final torque with a rated wrench.
