Pops apart spring-lock and quick-connect fuel, A/C, and transmission cooler lines in 1/4 through 7/8 inch on Ford, GM, and Dodge without cutting or prying the fitting.
A full set of line-disconnect tools for anyone who services fuel systems, A/C lines, and automatic transmission oil cooler lines. When a spring-lock or quick-connect fitting will not let go, the right split collar or spring-lock cage slides over the tube, collapses the retaining spring or garter, and the line pulls straight off. No screwdrivers jammed into the fitting, no nicked lines, no leaks on reassembly.
The kit covers the SAE sizes you actually run into on domestic vehicles: 1/4 inch, 5/16 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, and 7/8 inch. It includes seven plastic clip removers, six anodized aluminum clip removers, four spring-lock disconnect cages (3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 inch), a scissor-style disconnect tool for 5/16 and 3/8 inch fuel lines, plus the dedicated oil cooler line tool for late-model GM pickups and the fuel line tool for 4.0L V6 Ford Rangers and Explorers.
Typical jobs: dropping a fuel tank or swapping a fuel pump, freeing A/C hoses at the condenser or accumulator, and separating transmission cooler lines at the radiator or trans case before you pull a unit. The scissor tool and spring-lock cages handle the Ford spring-lock A/C and fuel couplings that are almost impossible to release by hand.
Tools are anodized aluminum, steel, and reinforced plastic and store in a blow-molded case so the sizes stay sorted on the bench.
