OTC's SAE bushing driver set with 16 aluminum adapters from 3/8 to 1-3/8 inch and three handles to drive press-in bushings in square.
A bushing driver set is only useful if the driver diameter matches the bushing bore. This OTC 4505 SAE set covers that range with sixteen aluminum adapters stepping from 3/8 inch up to 1-3/8 inch, so you drive a bushing straight in on its outer edge instead of peening the bore with a socket that is close but not right.
The set runs three interchangeable driver handles - large, medium, and small - and each adapter threads onto the handle that suits its size. On the bench that means you support a transmission case bore, a differential pinion sleeve, a spring perch bushing, or a control-arm bushing on the correct-diameter face and tap it home square without cocking it. The soft aluminum adapters seat on the bushing rather than the housing, which keeps you from bruising the bore or the sealing surface next to it.
It handles cars, light and heavy trucks, tractors, construction equipment, and electric-motor end bells - anywhere a press-in bushing needs to come out or go back in. Everything stores in a blow-molded case so the adapters stay sorted by size instead of scattered in a drawer.
