RE4F03A Transmission Master Rebuild Kit Nissan Versa

The RE4F03A, and its four-wheel-drive RL4F03A sibling, is the Jatco-built four-speed automatic Nissan ran across its 2007-2013 subcompact line. This master rebuild kit puts the soft parts and clutch material for a full teardown and reassembly in one box.

Fitment covers Versa (2007-2013), Cube and Cubic (2007-2009), Livina, Geniss, Grand Livina, Latio, and Bluebird Sylphy through 2013. Confirm the RE4F03A or RL4F03A stamp on the case or valve body before ordering, since Nissan ran more than one four-speed in these years and the parts do not interchange.

The kit carries the friction clutch plates, steel plates, the overhaul gasket and seal set, and the rubber sealing rings and O-rings. It rebuilds the clutch packs and reseals the pump, drums, and case. It does not include hard parts, the filter, or a torque converter, so add those separately if your inspection turns up wear.

Reach for it when the unit is slipping, flaring on the shift, or weeping at the pump and axle seals, the usual reasons a high-mile RE4F03A comes apart. Replacing every friction and seal in one pass is cheaper insurance than chasing a single worn clutch pack back into the car.
