Stackable Car Service Ramps 6,500 lb Pair, 6.7 in Lift

A pair of molded polypropylene drive-up ramps that lift the front (or rear) of a vehicle 6.7 inches so you can get under it for a pan drop, filter change, fluid service, or a cooler line inspection. Each ramp is 35.63 in long, 12 in wide and 8.25 in tall, and the pair is rated at 6,500 lb gross vehicle weight (3,250 lb per ramp), which covers most cars, minivans, crossovers and half-ton pickups. The two ramps together weigh 18.9 lb, so one person can set them up and put them away.

On the bench-to-driveway side of the job, ramps beat a floor jack for anything that does not require the wheels hanging free. A transmission pan drop, an ATF drain and fill, a cooler line disconnect check, or a leak hunt at the pan rail or output shaft seal are all done with the suspension loaded, and ramps get you there in about thirty seconds without repositioning a jack or setting stands. The 12 in wide track keeps a wide tire fully supported, and the ribbed platform surface holds the tire from creeping once the vehicle is on the stop.

The ramps stack into each other for storage, which matters in a home shop where floor space is the constraint - stacked, they take about half the footprint of two loose ramps. Built-in side handles on each ramp make them easy to carry and to line up in front of the tires. Note the 17-degree style approach: low-clearance cars with front air dams or lowered suspension may contact the leading edge, so check your front overhang before driving up, and always chock the wheels still on the ground before going underneath.
