About this product

When a transmission cooler line or a brake line rusts through, you either replace the whole run or you cut out the bad section and flare a fresh end. The cheap clamp-and-wingnut kits turn that into a coin toss: the tube slips, the flare comes out lopsided, and you are back under the car chasing a leak. The Titan 51535 takes the guesswork out. Its long clamping jaws hold 3/16-inch steel or nickel-copper line without chewing up the tube, and the built-in stop bolt sets the exact amount of tube sticking out every time, so you get a clean inverted 45-degree double flare on the first try.

The tool is compact enough to work in place under the vehicle, so you can splice in a section without pulling half the car apart. Prefer a bench? Pull the handle off and clamp the block straight into a vise. It ships with the positioning bolt, a double-ended OP1/OP2 punch, and a container of die lubricant, so you are ready to flare out of the box. Not recommended for stainless tubing. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
