About this product

Plenty of modern fasteners are not a straight ft-lb spec anymore. Torque-to-yield and torque-plus-angle bolts get snugged to a seating torque and then turned a set number of degrees, and eyeballing that final rotation with a paint mark is how you end up with an uneven clamp load or a stretched bolt. This angle gauge takes the guesswork out: you zero it, then read the actual rotation on a 360 degree dial marked in 2 degree increments.

It runs off any 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar and standard 1/2" sockets, so it drops right into the tools you already own. The 15 inch flexible shaft with a spring clamp anchors the reference arm to a stud, a rail, or the part itself, which lets you reach fasteners tucked into tight spots and still get a clean, repeatable angle read. Zeroes fast between bolts so you can work through a pattern without fighting the tool. Alloy steel build, roughly 20 inches overall. Handy for bellhousing and case bolts, converter and flexplate hardware, bearing caps, and any head or main work you take on alongside the transmission. Ships from the USA.
