Transmission Solenoid Pack for Ford 6F35 CV6Z-7G391-A

This is the solenoid pack that bolts to the valve body inside a Ford 6F35 six-speed automatic transaxle, carrying the shift solenoids and the pressure control solenoid on one plate with the internal wiring. It carries OE reference CV6Z-7G391-A and covers 2015-2018 Ford Edge, 2015-2019 Escape, 2015-2019 Explorer, 2015-2019 Fusion, and 2015-2017 Taurus. The unit is remanufactured, so expect light cosmetic marks on the housing; the solenoids and the plate are what matter and those are tested before it ships.

Solenoid packs are the usual suspect when a 6F35 starts shifting badly but the hard parts are still healthy. The complaints line up the same way every time: a harsh or banging 1-2, a delayed engagement into drive or reverse after the car sits, an upshift that flares and then catches, or the transmission dropping into failsafe and staying in one gear. On the scan tool you will normally see shift solenoid circuit codes in the P0750-P0775 range or pressure control solenoid codes in the P0960s, and commanded versus actual line pressure that will not track.

Replacement is a pan-down job with the transaxle in the car. Drain the fluid, drop the pan and the filter, unplug the internal harness at the case pass-through connector, then unbolt the solenoid pack from the valve body and lift it straight off so you do not drag the sealing bores. Set the new pack flat, start every bolt by hand before torquing so the plate pulls down evenly, and reconnect the pass-through squarely. Reinstall with a new filter and pan gasket, refill with the correct Ford spec fluid, and check level at the specified fluid temperature - the 6F35 is sensitive to level and will mimic a solenoid fault if it is low.

Before you buy, confirm your build. The 6F35 changed internally across its life, so match the CV6Z-7G391-A part number and your model year rather than going by vehicle name alone. If your codes point at the internal wiring harness or the TCM rather than the solenoids, replace those instead - a solenoid pack will not fix an open circuit upstream of it.
