20-Gallon Air-Operated Waste Oil Drain Tank, 38-65in Adjustable

This is the drain tank you roll under a car on the lift when you are dropping a transmission pan and do not want ten quarts of hot ATF on the floor. The 15-inch funnel sits on a column that adjusts from 38 to 65 inches, so it reaches up to a two-post lift at working height or drops down for a car on ramps. The tank holds 20 gallons, which is roughly ten pan drops before you have to empty it.

Emptying is where an air-operated tank beats a plain catch pan. Hook shop air to the inlet, and the tank pressurizes and pushes its contents out through the 5 ft 9 in reinforced discharge hose into your waste drum or bulk tank. You never lift a full container or pour by hand. The hose is rated for continuous service at 120 C, so it handles ATF and gear oil coming out of a transmission that was just driven in, not just cold drain oil.

The body is powder-coated steel. It rides on four wheels, two 4.5-inch rigid and two 2.76-inch swivel casters, so it tracks straight when you push it across the bay but still spins into position under a pan. Use it for automatic transmission fluid, gear oil, engine oil, coolant, and diesel fuel drain-downs.
