Removes and installs the clutch pack on VW and Audi 7-speed 0AM dual-clutch gearboxes and sets K1/K2 release-bearing height on the bench.
This is the factory-style clutch service set for Volkswagen and Audi 7-speed dry dual-clutch (0AM / DQ200) gearboxes. It pulls the clutch pack off the input shafts and presses a replacement pack back on without cocking or damaging the assembly, and it sets the running clearance of the K1 and K2 release bearings so the box engages cleanly after a rebuild.
The kit corresponds to VW/Audi special tools T10374, T10373, T10323 and T10376. It fits the 7-speed 0AM found in 2004-up VW Golf, 2005-up Golf Plus and 2004-up Audi A3, plus the Jetta Hybrid, and the support bridge and bearing-setting tool also cover the 6-speed 08D unit used in the Touareg. Confirm your gearbox code before ordering.
On the bench you bolt the puller/press piece to the clutch carrier, draw the dual-clutch assembly off, then reverse the tool to seat the new pack. The release-bearing setting tool and support bridge then locate the K1 and K2 bearings at the correct height. Doing this by hand or with the wrong adapter is how these clutches end up dragging, shuddering or throwing mechatronic faults right after a repair.
Steel construction, about 11.9 lb shipped. Some vehicles need a few mounting bolts sourced separately to fasten the tool to the transmission.
