Pulls and realigns the wet twin-clutch pack on VW and Audi DQ250, DQ380, DQ381 and DQ500 DSG gearboxes so you can replace the leaking input shaft seals.
This is the shop-level tool set for pulling and re-seating the wet dual-clutch pack on VW and Audi DSG gearboxes. It fits the DQ250 six-speed wet box (02E) along with the DQ380 and DQ381 seven-speed units (0DW, 0DE) and the DQ500 seven-speed (0BH). It replaces the factory service tools T10055, T10303, T10524, T10525, and 3438, so you are working to the same clamp and alignment points the dealer uses.
The job it solves is the wet-clutch oil seal leak. When a DQ250 or DQ500 starts weeping fluid past the input shaft seals or the mechatronic pressure drops, the twin-clutch assembly has to come off the input shafts to get at the seals. Pulling that pack by hand risks bending the shafts or nicking the sealing surfaces. The puller plates grab the clutch carrier squarely and draw it straight off, and the installer plate presses it back on without side-loading the shaft.
On the bench you thread the puller onto the clutch hub, back the assembly off the input shafts, swap the seals, then use the installer sleeve to drive the pack home. The included digital dial indicator (0 to 25.4 mm range, 0.01 mm resolution) and its holder let you check clutch pack clearance and end play before the box goes back together, so you are not guessing at shim thickness.
All plates and sleeves are forged steel. This is a specialty tool for a specialty repair -- if you are only doing one DSG a year it still pays for itself the first time you avoid replacing a scored input shaft.
