10L Pneumatic ATF Fill and Extract Pump, 26 Adapters

This is the shop-air version of the ATF fill pump — the tool you reach for when a transmission has no dipstick tube and the only way in is the side fill plug. The 10-liter graduated tank hangs off the bench or the fender, you hook it to shop air, and a two-way valve lets the same rig pull the old fluid out and push the new fluid back in without a funnel, a hand lever, or a gallon of ATF down the crossmember.

The blue screw knob and the flow-direction valve set which way the fluid moves. Turned clockwise, the pump draws fluid up into the tank — useful for evacuating a pan through the fill hole or for pulling fresh ATF straight out of a jug. Turned counterclockwise, tank pressure pushes fluid down the hose and into the case. A gauge on the lid reads 0-80 psi (0-6 bar) so you can see what the tank is holding, and a relief valve cracks at 43 psi so an air line left open will not build past that.

Twenty-six aluminum fill adapters ship in a fitted case, in the thread sizes and outlet angles used across sealed European and domestic units — the 45- and 90-degree bends matter when the fill plug faces a subframe and a straight nipple will not clear. Common applications include ZF 8HP and 6HP, Mercedes 722.6 and 722.9, VW/Audi DSG and 09G/09M, Ford 6F and 6R, GM 6L and 8L, Volvo, Porsche, and Skoda. The main hose carries a quick connector and an inline control valve, so you can shut off flow at the transmission rather than at the tank while you watch for overflow at the check plug.

Fill procedure with this tool is the usual one: bring the fluid to temperature, run the selector through the gears, then pump ATF in at the fill plug until it runs back out, and cap it while the fluid is still in its spec window. The 10-liter tank means a 7- to 9-quart refill happens in one load instead of three.
