Replaces the internal filter and molded oil pan gasket on GM 10-speed 10L60, 10L80 and 10L90 transmissions when you drop the pan for a fluid service.
This kit contains the internal transmission filter and the molded oil pan gasket for GM's 10-speed automatic family, the 10L60, 10L80 and 10L90 (Hydra-Matic). It matches GM part number 24294355 and filter reference TF937, and covers 2019-2024 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500, 2021-2024 Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL and Escalade, 2020-2024 Camaro, and Cadillac CT4, CT5 and CT6.
Use it any time the pan comes down for a fluid and filter change. Pull the old filter straight off the pump inlet, seat the new filter seal by hand, then set the pan back up with the new gasket and run the pan bolts to spec in a cross pattern. The molded gasket seats dry and does not need RTV.
GM 10-speeds are known for pan gasket seepage and for shudder complaints that trace back to overdue or contaminated fluid. Changing the filter and gasket on a service interval keeps debris off the valve body and the pressure-control solenoids and stops the slow leak that leaves spots under the truck.
