4R70W/4R75W Shift Solenoid Set with Filter & Gasket Kit

This kit rebuilds the electronic control side of a Ford 4R70W or 4R75W transmission in a single service: the shift solenoids, the EPC (electronic pressure control) solenoid, and the torque converter clutch (TCC) lockup solenoid, along with a fresh filter and pan gasket. It fits the 14-bolt pan versions built from 2005 through 2008, which covers a lot of E-Series vans and F-150 applications of that era.

When these solenoids start failing you get the familiar complaints: harsh or delayed shifts, a torque converter that will not lock up, a transmission that hangs in one gear, or stored codes in the P0740 / P0748 / P0751 family. Instead of chasing one solenoid at a time and going back in twice, techs swap the whole pack while the pan is already down and the fluid is already out.

It is a pan-drop job on the bench or on a lift. Drop the pan, pull the old filter, unplug and unbolt the solenoids off the valve body, then transfer the new solenoids, filter, and gasket into place. Plan on refilling with six or more quarts of Mercon V (not included), so have a drain pan and fresh fluid ready. The parts are built to OE dimensions, so connectors and bolt locations line up without modification.
