Full overhaul kit for the Ford 6R80: frictions, steels, gaskets and seals for 2009-2014 F-150, Expedition, Navigator, Mustang and Ranger builds.
This is a master overhaul kit for the Ford 6R80 six-speed automatic, covering OE kit numbers FL3P-7A101-AA, T18300D, T18302D, T183080D and T183081D. It includes the friction plates, steel plates, gaskets, rubber seals and sealing rings you consume on a teardown, so you are not stopping mid-build to chase a single gasket.
Fitment covers Ford Expedition 2009-2014, F-150 2009-2014, Mustang 2010-2014, Ranger 2010-2014, Transit 2014, Everest 2011, Lincoln Navigator 2009-2014 and Mazda BT-50 2012-2014. Verify your tag and the number of frictions in each pack against the kit before you commit; the 6R80 changed clutch counts across the run, and the early and late direct clutch stacks are not interchangeable.
The usual reason a 6R80 lands on the bench is a burnt overdrive or intermediate pack after long tow miles, or a shudder that started as a converter complaint and turned out to be glazed frictions. Soak the new frictions in clean Mercon LV for at least 30 minutes before assembly, air-check every drum after you stack it, and set clutch clearance with the selective plates rather than assuming the stack is right out of the box. Replace the filter and pan gasket at the same time - they are not in this kit.
