Nine-solenoid kit for the Toyota A760E and AB60E that restores shift timing and line pressure on 4Runner, Tundra, Tacoma, FJ Cruiser and Lexus.
A full set of nine shift, pressure and lockup solenoids for the Aisin-built Toyota A760E 6-speed, also used across the A761E, A960E, AB60E and AB60F family. Replacing the full set at once is the standard move when a unit throws solenoid codes or starts showing late, harsh or flared shifts, converter shudder or a slip on the 2-3 or 4-5 change. On a high-mileage unit, if one solenoid is sticking the rest are usually not far behind.
On the bench: drop the pan and remove the filter, unplug the internal harness from each solenoid, remove the retaining brackets and pull the solenoids from the valve body. Note the location of each one as they come out. Install the new solenoids with lightly oiled O-rings, reinstall the brackets, reconnect the harness, and refill with Toyota WS fluid to the correct level using the overflow-tube check procedure at operating temperature.
