A960E Transmission Valve Body Assembly with 9 Solenoids

This is a complete A960E valve body assembly with all nine solenoids already installed and tested, so you are not pulling solenoids off a core and hoping they read in spec. It fits the Aisin A960E / A960 six-speed, also cataloged as TB-65SN and TB-60NF, and it cross-references the OE 35250-30XXX series (the suffix changes by model year). Before you order, pull the pan and read the casting number on the valve body you have. It has to be 8840. If it is not 8840 this is the wrong unit, no matter what the vehicle is.

North America fitment: Lexus IS250 and IS250C 2006-2015 RWD and AWD, Toyota 86 and Scion FR-S 2013-2020 with the 2.0L FA20, Subaru BRZ 2013-2020, Toyota Tacoma 2.7L 2015-2016 RWD and 4WD, and Hyundai Genesis 3.3L 2009-2011 RWD. It does not fit the IS300 2016-2017 (that is an A760H), the GS300 2007 and up (A760E), or the 3.8L Genesis. Those are different valve bodies with different bore layouts.

On the bench the swap is a pan-down job: drop the fluid, pull the pan and filter, unplug the solenoid connector at the case, back out the valve body bolts in a cross pattern and lower the unit straight down so you do not drop check balls out of the separator plate. Transfer nothing over except the manual valve link if yours uses one. Torque the bolts back in stages, install a new filter and pan gasket, refill with the correct Toyota WS fluid, and set level with the transmission at the specified temperature window. Clear codes and relearn before you road test.

What this fixes is the failure pattern these units are known for: worn solenoid bores and a tired shift solenoid pack showing up as P0751, P0756, P0776, harsh 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, flare on the 3-4, delayed engagement into drive, or a unit that limps into third-gear failsafe when it gets hot. Each assembly is vacuum tested, the solenoids are resistance checked, and it goes across a flow bench before it ships. Seals and bushings are upgraded over the worn OEM part you are taking out.
