Reset fixture and threaded press tool that re-seats a removed Ford DPS6 dual-clutch assembly to spec before it goes back in the bellhousing.
Purpose-built fixture set for servicing the Ford DPS6 PowerShift dual-clutch unit used in the 2011-2019 Fiesta and 2012-2016 Focus. When the clutch pack comes out, the self-adjusting mechanism has to be reset before it can be reinstalled. Drop it back in un-reset and you get the same shudder, slip and flare the customer brought it in for.
The kit is a large circular reset fixture, center support pieces, a threaded press-style tool and a round backing plate, all in a molded case. You seat the clutch in the fixture, square the press tool on it, and turn the threaded mechanism to apply controlled engagement through the reset stroke. That keeps the load even across the assembly instead of cocking it in a shop press.
This is a clutch-service tool, not a general transmission tool. It targets the reset and reinstall step specifically. Follow the Ford service procedure for the reset sequence and verify seating before the unit goes back in the case. Shipping weight is about 13.75 lb with the case.
